It all started with one little bird...
Everglades Bird Supply is owned and operated by two passionate animal lovers whose journey into the bird world began unexpectedly—after rescuing a lost bird from a busy roadway, narrowly escaping traffic. That one small moment led to a new lifelong passion—and eventually, a business rooted in care, safety, and love for our feathered friends.
From the beginning, our focus was simple: create handmade, all-natural bird toys and accessories right here in sunny South Florida. As bird owners ourselves, we were frustrated by the lack of transparency in the market—unsure materials, questionable dyes, and toys that just didn’t seem safe at local pets stores. Some pets stores barely even had anything for birds. So we set out to make our own toys, using only materials we’d feel confident giving to our own flock.
In 2025, we like to say we officially "left the nest" and began to branch out—offering not just our handmade creations, but a carefully curated selection of trusted brands and products (slowly growing it).
We hope that one day Everglades Bird Supply will become a complete source for bird-safe supplies. From enrichment toys to feeding essentials, and that every product we offer is something we’ve personally vetted and would use with our own birds.
Our promise remains simple: if it’s not safe enough for our flock, it’s not good enough for yours.
